The Water-Jel Heat Shield Fire Extinguishing Blanket is constructed of worsted wool, and includes an intercellular weave which is capable of absorbing up to 13 times it own weight. The biodegradable, bacteriostatic, water-soluble gel it is made with helps to extinguish the flame, cool the burn, and helps to stop the burn progression and pain. It also helps to stabilizes the patient in preparation for transport to a burn center or ER. The blanket also can be used to offer protection against flames and heat. Comes packaged in a convenient orange canister. 72" x 60". Single-use only.
